House on the Park is a SATOUR accredited establishment and
offers executive accommodation in luxury double rooms and Garden
Chalets. The rooms are very comfortably furnished and have
en-suite facilities. Each room has tea/coffee making facilities
as well as colour TV. Guests have use of the Classic Lounge as
well as a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities are also
available. A Hearty Breakfast is
served.
Situated on a large property about 1Km from the centre of town,
there is a relaxing pool area for the exclusive use of the
Guests. Also available is a braai (barbecue) area. Enjoy peace
and privacy on a large park with its prolific birdlife. Closeby
are several well known restaurants for those Guests who wish to

House on the Park is the ideal base from which to explore
the tourist attractions of this historic area of Natal. Dundee
is in the heart of the Kwa Zulu Natal Battlefields of both
the Anglo-Boer and the Anglo-Zulu Wars. Closeby is the
world famous battlefield of Rorke's Drift as well as the
battlefields of Blood River, Isandlwana, Talana and Elandslaagte.
On the Battlefields Route there are many war graves and
monuments. Tours are available and are organized by your Host who
is a recognized Tour Guide.
House on the Park is approximately a three and a half hour
drive from Durban or from Johannesburg and is an ideal place as
a stopover or to spend a relaxing weekend or holiday. Speak to
